Trenton Water Works (TWW) is committed to protecting public health by replacing lead and galvanized water service lines throughout its service area.
The Lead Service Line Replacement Program provides free, mandatory replacement of eligible lead and galvanized service lines as part of TWW’s efforts to reduce lead exposure in drinking water and meet New Jersey’s requirements for lead service line removal by 2031.
Residents and property owners are encouraged to learn about the program, identify their water service line material, and review the resources below.
About the Program
The Lead Service Line Replacement Program helps eliminate lead service lines that may contribute to lead exposure in drinking water.
Replacement work is being conducted in phases. When replacement work is scheduled in your neighborhood, an authorized contractor will contact property owners in the area with instructions for participating.
